Who we are

The First Baptist Church of Westfield, NY, is a thriving, healthy body of believers who love the Lord and are seeking to be a light in our community.

Our church attendance typically ranges from 120-150 people during our Sunday morning worship services.  First Baptist is a family-friendly church with a blended worship style.  All ages, from our busy nursery to senior saints are well represented.  We have Sunday School classes for children through adults.  We also have a MOPS ministry, children's and youth ministries, men's and women's Bible studies, and "house church" groups.  We are also strongly committed to global missions.  Our church is a compassionate and supportive congregation that is blessed with many capable and experienced leaders.

Westfield is a small town of about 5,000 people located along the shores of Lake Erie in western New York.  It is a close-knit community with an active recreation program well suited for families with children.  Nearby are many activities: skiing, golfing, fishing, hunting, biking, hiking, boating, and much more.  We have our own school system and a small hospital.  Although nestled in a rural community, we also have easy access to Buffalo, Jamestown, and Erie, PA.
